White gives a heightened perception of space. Yet, like a footprint in the early morning snow, a single line, no matter how fine, will rule the space it occupies, no matter how vast.

 

Thin or thick, smooth or rough, paper is fragile. Once torn, it can only be glued back together. Its white, no longer pure, will only serve to emphasize the fine scars left behind by such an action.
